ANALYSIS OF RISK FACTORS IN HYPERTENSION
Abstract
This article provides an analysis of the histories of patients of the Kursk City Hospital No. 3 who have arterial hypertension. The most common risk factors that contribute to the development of arterial hypertension in the human body were studied. As a result of the analysis, the following risk factors were identified in patients: 60% of patients were male; 56.6% of patients with arterial hypertension led a sedentary or sedentary lifestyle; relatives of 50% of patients had early cardiovascular diseases, as well as a burdened family history; 43.3% of patients were overweight (suffered from abdominal obesity); total cholesterol in 36.6% of patients with hypertension was elevated, among all patients 33.3% of women were menopausal, smoking was abused by 30% of patients and also, 30% of patients had elevated glucose levels (glucose tolerance was impaired). The study showed that the severity of risk factors was observed in people with arterial hypertension. To reduce the incidence of hypertension, as well as timely treatment of the disease, it is necessary to monitor people belonging to risk groups.
DYNAMICS OF THE INCIDENCE OF CERVICAL CANCER IN 2016-2021
Abstract
The article examines the dynamics of the incidence of cervical cancer in Russia in 2016-2021. As part of the study, the results of the analysis of statistics on the spread of cervical cancer in the territory of the Russian Federation "Malignant neoplasms in Russia" of the P. A. Herzen Moscow Research Oncological Institute in the period from 2016 to 2021 were described. So, from 2016 to 2018, there was an annual increase in women with an established diagnosis of malignant neoplasm of the cervix, which may be due to the development of diagnostic trends in medicine that allow detecting a tumor at an early stage, which may lead to an increase in morbidity rates. And from 2019 to 2021, the number of women with a malignant tumor began to decrease significantly, the reason for this is the development of methods of treatment and diagnosis. Also, in the cancers of the Bala study, an analysis of the average age of women who were diagnosed with a cervical tumor was carried out. So, in 2016-2021, a trend was revealed in our country to increase the average age of women who were first diagnosed with a cervical tumor, which may indicate a gradual "aging" of the disease.
THE PROBLEM OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DOCTORS AND PATIENTS
Abstract
This article touches upon an urgent issue that unites medicine and law – the question of the legal foundations of the relationship between a doctor and a patient. In general, it is possible to analyze this issue only thanks to the introduction of the questionnaire method into this study. It is in connection with this fact that the article analyzes the results of an anonymous survey conducted to collect the necessary statistical data that make it possible to understand how acute this problem is in modern society. As part of this survey, its participants were asked questions to find out the main age group of the respondents and the gender-predominant group, questions to find out their social status, questions that were asked separately to the group representing the students (to understand which course of study the majority of respondents are in). A further set of questions that were asked to the respondents made it possible to fully determine the respondents' attitude to this problem, since thanks to these questions it was possible to find out which part of the survey participants had conflicts with doctors, what reasons they see in these conflicts and how conflict situations can be prevented.
SMELL AND TASTE DISORDERS AFTER COVID-19
Abstract
The aim of the study was to identify post-covid disorders of smell and taste in
students of Irkutsk State Medical University.
Patients and methods. We conducted a questionnaire and olfactometry among 216 4th-year students of IGMU from March 2021 to March 2022. On the study time everyone considered themselves healthy, but parosmia has
been identified in 24 people (31.6%) and hyposmia in 19 people (25%) in 1 group; in 27 people (31.5%) and in 6 people (7.8%) in 2 group appropriately; parosmia - in 28 people (46.7%) and hyposmia - in 10 people (16.7%) in 3 group; in 4 people (100%) and in 1 student (25%) of 4 group appropriately.
Conclusions. Parosmia was observed for a long time after the Wuhan strain of COVID-19 in 35.5% of students, after the delta strain - in 46.7%, after the omicron strain - in 100%. Parosmia was in the form of distortion of the coffee and vinegar smells, the taste is not disturbed.
Dysosmia was detected in 32% students who have not had coronavirus infection, which may be a retrospective marker of COVID-19.
COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF INSOMNIA MANIFESTATIONS IN STUDENTS OF TVER UNIVERSITIES
Abstract
The problem of insomnia and its prevention is relevant in modern reality for people of all ages, including young people. Features of insomnia were studied in 155 students of Tver universities aged 18-26 years: 95 students of Tver Medical University (TvG-MU) and 60 students of Tver Technical University (TvSTU) using an original questionnaire that allows you to evaluate and compare the quality and quantity sleep.
An analysis of the results of a survey of medical students and programmers showed a high frequency of their dissatisfaction with the quality of sleep and high risks of developing insomnia due to the short duration of night sleep, late falling asleep and early rising. TvSTU students are characterized by late falling asleep and high labor activity at night, which negatively affects the quality of sleep, morning and afternoon activity. The students of the TV State Medical University had an earlier going to sleep and a greater susceptibility of its quality to the manifestations of stressful events, which can be explained, on the one hand, by their better professional awareness of the negative consequences of sleep deficiency, and on the other hand, by the peculiarities of learning with an emphasis on memorization of information and awareness of personal responsibility for the result.
THE ROLE OF AMBULANCE CREWS IN EVACUATING AND TREATING VICTIMS OF ROAD ACCIDENTS
Abstract
The role of ambulance crews in the evacuation and medical care (MH) of victims of road traffic accidents (RTAs) in the Russian Federation (RF) according to the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for 2020-2022 was studied. It has been revealed that road safety (RSA) has improved significantly in the Russian Federation over the years mentioned above, the number of road accidents and the number of fatalities and injuries have decreased. This is due to the implementation of the national project "Safe Quality Roads", which aims to create a comfortable and safe environment for life, as well as to preserve the population, health and well-being of people. In the Russian Federation in 2020-2022. 60-65% of those injured in road accidents were transported to medical facilities by ambulances. The percentage of ambulance crews arriving within the first hour of an accident was 99%. The severity of injuries was found to be 9.8% if the ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident within the first hour, and increased to 19.1% if they arrived within the first two hours. The timing of the arrival of the ambulance at the crash scene has a significant impact on the severity of the consequences for the victims.
INVESTIGATION OF THE STATE OF ERYTHROCYTES IN THE CONDITIONS OF MODELING CHRONIC ALCOHOL INTOXICATION
Abstract
The experiments were performed on male Wistar rats with a body weight of 180-240g, age 3 months, which were divided into two groups depending on the conditions of modeling chronic alcohol intoxication (CAI). The absolute number of erythrocytes (RBC; ×1012/l) and hemoglobin (HGB; g/l) was studied using the MicroCC-20Plus hematological analyzer. Analysis of the results of the study showed a significant decrease in the absolute number of red blood cells and hemoglobin levels in experimental rats compared with the control group, which indicates the development of anemic syndrome regardless of the conditions of CAI. At the same time, our study showed that the absolute number of erythrocytes in the CAI group 10% -30 is significantly lower than in animals in the conditions of CAI 40%-30 (p < 0.05). Comparison of hemoglobin values between the groups of CAI 10%-30 and CAI 40%-30 did not reveal significant differences, which indicates the influence of the volume of ethanol-containing liquid consumption on the development of pathological changes in red blood cells. It was found that the severity of the damaging effects of ethanol on red blood cells in conditions of chronic alcohol intoxication is due not only to the concentration, but also to the volume of ethanol-containing liquid, as well as the alcohol consumption regime.
BIOCRYSTALLOMICS AS A METHOD OF PREDICTING THE COURSE OF REPAIR OF BURN WOUNDS OF THE SKIN
Abstract
In pathological processes, there is a change in the chemical composition of tissues and body fluids, which can fix it by crystallizing the object under study. The change in the chemical composition of plasma is important in the dynamics of the skin regeneration process. The aim of the study was a qualitative and quantitative assessment of the plasma crystallization process and the determination of the dependence of the crystallomorphological pattern on the timing of repair and the change of phases of healing of burn wounds. The study was conducted on 12 white mongrel rats kept in the same vivarium conditions, with a standard maintenance regime. Thermal burn on the dorsal surface of the body was simulated in rats. Blood plasma was taken for the study on the 7th, 14th, 21st days of the experiment. The plasma obtained from experimental animals was compared with the plasma of an intact rat. A 2% solution of ninhydrin was used as a diagnostic solution. Stereometric processing of the results consisted in calculating the density of crystallization centers. As a result, crystals of different sizes and shapes were obtained. According to the results of the study, it can be concluded that plasma crystallomorphology can be used as one of the additional methods of investigation and diagnosis of regeneration processes of burn wounds.

PHYSICAL CULTURE AS A WAY TO FIGHT OVERWEIGHT IN STUDENTS
Abstract
Physical inactivity is a risk factor for the development of a large number of chronic diseases and pathological conditions. In addition, it provokes the development of obesity, which worsens the course of these diseases. Physical activity fights these manifestations, healing the body. Therefore, a study was conducted to determine the contribution of sports to maintaining normal body weight and well-being in students. The materials and methods were a survey of medical students, taking into account the data of their anthropometry and well-being. Students were divided into 2 groups depending on the frequency of sports activities. Group I - physical activity 2 times a week and more often, Group II - less than 2 times a week. The significance of the difference between these samples was assessed by Student's t-test. As a result, it was found that the body mass index is more stable in those students who go in for sports at least 2 times a week. Well-being also correlates with this factor. Thus, we can conclude that, indeed, to maintain a normal body weight, it is necessary to engage in physical activity at least 2 times a week, since it makes a statistically significant contribution to the formation of a healthy body.
PREVALENCE AND COURSE OF HERPETIC INFECTION IN THE AGE GROUP OF 18-25 YEARS
Abstract
Herpes infection is one of the most common viral diseases of our time. There are many forms of this disease, although the most common is the defeat of the mucous membranes and skin. The purpose of the study is to assess the course of herpes infection in young people aged 18 to 25 years. Materials and methods. For this, a survey of 118 people was conducted in a given age interval. An assessment was made of the form, localization, nature of the course, and the severity of herpes infection in these individuals. In addition, in the course of the work, approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of this condition, the frequency of seeking medical help were considered. The relationship between the prevalence of the disease and sex was considered in assessing the epidemiological significance of this disease. Results. As a result, it was found that in this age category, herpes infection occurs most often localized with mild severity. Young people almost never seek medical help, and the main drug of choice is Acyclovir. A rather low percentage of respondents turn to laboratory diagnostics and assessment of the carriage and titer of antibodies to the herpes simplex virus. Conclusions. In this age group, herpetic infection in most cases is localized, often affects the skin around the mouth and is mild.
THE ATTITUDE OF THE POPULATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF KARELIA TO VACCINATION: SURVEY DATA
Abstract
The pandemic of a new coronavirus infection has influenced the opinion of the population about the need for vaccination. A closed lifestyle during the quarantine period, restrictive measures, a large amount of unreliable information on the Internet led to an increase in the number of anti-vaccinators and, as a result, to an increase in infectious morbidity. The problem of the population's distrust of vaccination is very relevant for most countries of the world. The aim of the work was to study the degree of adherence of the population to vaccination in the Republic of Karelia by means of a questionnaire on paper and electronic media. 402 residents of the Republic of Karelia took part in the study. When analyzing the questionnaires, it turned out that the majority of respondents believe that vaccination is necessary, but at the same time, a lack of confidence in the effectiveness of vaccines, a lack of adequate information in sufficient quantity and a fear of side effects were revealed. Doubts about the effectiveness and safety of new vaccines against Covid-19 in adult respondents led to a high percentage of refusal to vaccinate their children. This work demonstrates that due to the availability of modern technologies and software, it is necessary to constantly monitor the opinion of the population regarding the need for vaccination for timely management decisions and the formation of a strong commitment to the prevention of vaccine-controlled diseases.

INFLUENCE OF LIRAGLUTIDE THERAPY ON MICROCIRCULATION PARAMETERS AND LIPID METABOLISM IN RATS WITH DIET-INDUCED OBESITY
Abstract
Obesity is a chronic disease associated with high cardiometabolic risk and type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM). For its therapy, the drug "Liraglutide" (LG) is used. We experimentally evaluated the effect of LH therapy on the state of microcirculation (MC) and lipid metabolism in rats with diet-induced obesity. The studies were performed on 30 white outbred rats divided into groups: control, comparison, experimental. We studied the indicators of MC and lipid metabolism. The results of the studies indicate that LH therapy causes the normalization of lipid metabolism and MC, which makes it promising to use this drug in patients with alimentary obesity to reduce cardiometabolic risk and prevent the development of endothelial dysfunction (ED).

Regardless of the development of diseases of the musculoskeletal system and the cardiovascular system. When considering the hobbies of children, the predominance of swimming in the first group among boys, while in the second - martial arts, is excited. The children showed signs of presence in the detained groups. Conclusions. Thus, the subjective opinion of parents can be used to assess the psychophysical development of children.
EVALUATION OF CORRELEATIONS BETWEEN GUT MICROBIOTA AND ANXIETY-LIKE BEHAVIOUR IN CHRONIC STRESS AND ADMINISTRATION OF ACTH6-9-PRO-GLY-PRO PEPTIDE AMINISTRATION
Abstract
In this paper, the effect of the peptide ACTH6-9–Pro-Gly-Pro on the relationship between the level of anxiety in experimental animals and the quantitative composition of representatives of their intestinal microbiota in conditions of chronic immobilization stress (CIS) was investigated. The level of anxiety was assessed in the elevated cruciform maze test. The assessment of the wall microbiota was carried out according to the method of L.I. Kafarskaya and V.M. Korshunov. To study the relationship between microbiota and behavior, a correlation analysis was performed with the calculation of Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. The results of the correlation analysis between the microbiota of the intestinal mucosa and the behavior of rats showed that anxiety-like behavior associated with CIS may correlate with changes in the intestinal microbiota. In addition, after administration of ACTH 6-9-PGP, correlations between microbiota and anxiety level were maintained at a dose of 50 mcg/kg.

Results. In patients of the 1st group, who underwent transcranial direct current stimulation in the rehabilitation complex, at the end of the course, there was a decrease in the levels of homocysteine, sCD40L glycoprotein, and blood malondialdehyde.Conclusions. The course of rehabilitation with the use of transcranial direct current stimulation in patients in the early recovery period of ischemic stroke is accompanied by a decrease in the level of sCD40L glycoprotein, homocysteine, malondialdehyde and stabilization of the level of C-reactive protein, having a beneficial effect on vascular inflammation, atherothrombotic changes and reducing the degree of lipid peroxidation.
CLINICAL AND ANAMNESTIC FEATURES OF WOMEN WITH POSTOPERATIVE SCAR ENDOMETRIOSIS
Abstract
Endometriosis is a fairly common disease in women of reproductive age, but its localization in the area of the postoperative scar (EPR) is no longer one of the rare localizations of endometriosis, this is evidenced by the relatively high frequency of its diagnosis in gynecological patients. The paper presents the results of a study of a group of patients of reproductive age who were admitted for surgical treatment of EPR in a gynecological clinic. As a result of a thorough analysis of the clinical case of each patient, we came to the conclusion that EPR is an iatrogenic disease due to the peculiarities of the technique of cesarean section, which requires careful delineation of the edges of the surgical incision from contact with the intrauterine contents.
FEATURES OF THE GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT MICROBIOTA IN CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS
Abstract
The high prevalence of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) is causing increasing interest in this problem. In the microbiota of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) of children with ASD, dysbiotic changes in both the frequency of occurrence and the amount of intestinal microbiota are observed. The material for microbiological research was feces. As a result of a bacteriological study of the microbiota of the gastrointestinal tract, it was revealed that Staphylococcus spp. (87%), E. coli (73%), Enterococcus spp. (60%), and anaerobic microorganisms were found less than in 50% of the subjects. The number of intestinal anaerobes, although it was an order of magnitude higher than the concentration of aerobic representatives of the normobiota, as well as conditionally pathogenic microorganisms, was several times lower than the quantitative indicators of healthy people [1].

DYNAMICS OF THE SPREAD OF ACTUAL SOCIALLY SIGNIFICANT DISEASES IN THE TVER REGION
Abstract
An analysis of the dynamics of the spread of topical socially significant diseases (SPD) in the Russian Federation (RF) and in the Tver region - tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea and malignant neoplasms - is presented. Socially significant diseases are diseases, the occurrence and spread of which largely depends on socio-economic conditions that harm society and require social protection of a person [1]. The purpose of the study is to assess the dynamics of the spread of these SPZs in the Russian Federation and in the Tver region for 2000-2021. The study used official data of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) and the Medical Information and Analytical Center (MIAC) of the Tver region. During the period under review, a significant decrease in the incidence of tuberculosis, syphilis and gonorrhea was revealed, but an increase in the incidence of malignant neoplasms in the Russian Federation and the Tver region was determined. The decrease in the number of registered patients with a diagnosis established for the first time in my life for a number of SPZs was facilitated by the planned work of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation within the framework of the National Health Project. Measures to reduce the incidence of malignant neoplasms are defined in the Federal Project "Fighting Cancer", the implementation of which is an important task of all medical workers.

FEATURES OF THE STRUCTURE OF THE TONGUE IN DISEASES OF THE GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT, CARDIOVASCULAR PATHOLOGY AND ENDOCRINE DISEASES
Abstract
In the system of relations between internists and other specialists, the aspects of their interaction with dentists are the least studied. However, often the reason for the patient's treatment to the dentist is the presence of somatic pathology. On the other hand, the presence of certain changes on the part of the organs and tissues of the oral cavity and the appropriate dental advice can help the general practitioner in the early diagnosis of the disease and the appointment of adequate treatment of the patient.
Goal. To study the features of the structure of the tongue in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, cardiovascular pathology and endocrine diseases.
Materials and methods. A survey was conducted among students of Kirov State Medical University in the number of 56 people (age from 17 to 23 years).
Results. Among students, 39% have diseases of one or another organ system. The presence of characteristic features of the language in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, cardiovascular system and endocrine pathologies was also noticed in respondents.
Students are quite familiar with the characteristic features of the structure of the language in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, but some of the diseases of the cardiovascular and endocrine systems have caused difficulties. Only 42% of respondents correctly identified the features of chronic cardiovascular insufficiency, and 35% of diabetes mellitus at all.
Conclusions. The relationship of systemic diseases with the structure of language has been confirmed. However, not everyone is familiar with the features that manifest themselves in the structure of the language, characteristic of certain diseases.

According to the world literature data on the example of Chinese medical university students and Russian literature, which describes the study of students of the Altai State Medical University, medical university students are affected by irrational beliefs that have a significant impact on the quality of life of students, namely, lead to the development of anxiety, depression, academic stress and difficulties in the formation of professional identity. On the basis of Tver State Medical University, 37 students and residents were diagnosed with irrational beliefs according to the method of A. Ellis. The wide distribution of all groups of irrational beliefs among respondents was revealed, and the most often pronounced presence of beliefs from the group "Catastrophization", "Self-obligation" and "Frustrating tolerance" was determined. In more than 55% of students and residents, beliefs in all groups were determined to an average degree. The Russian and World medical and psychological community offers methods of cognitive behavioral therapy developed by A. Ellis to solve this problem.

PREVALENCE OF JOINT HYPERMOBILITY AMONG THE POPULATION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Abstract
The purpose of this articale is to determine the frequency of joint hypermobility syndrome (JHS) among the population of Russian Federation, as well as to analyze its correlation with the "small criteria" for diagnosing JHS. Our analysis of 18596 residents of the Russian Federation revealed that 30,3% of respondents had JHS, while the gender-specific analysis showed that JHS occurs in 30.5% of women and 29.3% of men. A correlation analysis has been carried out, revealing that JHS had a connection with orthopedic pathologies and minor anomalies in the development of the skeleton. Moreover, an association with skin and maxillofacial signs of connective tissue dysplasia has been identified, while myopia, organ prolapse, high extensibility of the forehead skin, and pathological curvature of the thoracic spine had no correlation with JHS. The analysis allows us to identify more accurate criteria for early diagnosis and prevention of diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
POSSIBILITIES OF REHABILITATION AND TREATMENT OF PATIENTS AFTER ANAL CANAL OPERATIONS. THE USE OF A COMPLEX BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE ADDITIVE (DIETARY SUPPLEMENT) FOR THE PREVENTION OF COMPLICATIONS
Abstract
This article discusses an effective method of rehabilitation after anal canal surgery. The effect of the dietary supplement "Relibalance" as an auxiliary agent, which was taken by patients operated in the coloproctology department of the city clinical Hospital No. 6 in Tver, is described. An empirical analysis of groups of people in the early postoperative period with different methods of treatment was carried out, the study was carried out according to such indicators as pain - duration and frequency of the need for painkillers and their cancellation, a visual analog scale (VAS) of pain intensity; the time of onset of the first bowel movement and the consistency of the stool; the development of complications and other signs (bloating, false urges, assimilation of food). According to this data collection, it was tracked in average values that the condition of the group taking this dietary supplement improved and stabilized faster. The authors proved the expediency and highlighted the advantages of prescribing dietary supplements "Relibalance" for patients who have undergone excision of a chronic anal fissure, hemorrhoidectomy, excision of rectal fistulas.
DIFFICULTIES IN DIAGNOSING SYSTEMIC INDOLENT MASTOCYTOSIS. CLINICAL CASE
Abstract
Mastocytosis is a rare disease caused by clonal proliferation of mast cells, which is manifested by a significant variety of clinical symptoms - from characteristic skin rashes (urticaria pigmentosa) to nonspecific signs in the form of tachycardia attacks and hot flashes, diarrhea, syncope, anaphylaxis, osteoporosis. The prevalence of mastocytosis is 9 cases per 100,000 population, which meets the definition of an orphan disease. This clinical case presents a patient with a confirmed diagnosis of indolent systemic mastocytosis. The disease was suspected based on the clinical picture and an increase in serum tryptase levels and was confirmed by the detection of mast cell infiltrates in the bone marrow trephine biopsy, the detection of a point mutation in the c-KIT D816V gene, CD25 expression by mast cells, which corresponds to the international criteria for diagnosing systemic mastocytosis according to WHO, 2017.Differential diagnostics was carried out between diseases of the cardiovascular and gastrointestinal systems, neurological pathology, and allergic conditions. The time of diagnosis was 14 years. The nonspecific nature of the symptoms, the rare occurrence and lack of awareness among clinicians led to late diagnosis of the disease and analysis of a complex clinical case. Due to the progressive course and potentially life-threatening manifestations, an important task for physicians of all specialties is the timely diagnosis of mastocytosis.

FAMILY ALCOHOLIC TRADITIONS, CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES AND LONGEVITY
Abstract
The result of the analysis of 454 online respondents showed that with an increase in the frequency of alcohol consumption in families: the detection of obesity in parents increased at the expense of fathers; in the latter, the frequency of registration of the optimal level of arterial pressure increased; the percentage of relatives who do not have hypertension and cardiovascular diseases decreased, while the opposite situation was revealed among grandmothers; the percentage of centenarians' grandparents was decreasing, but this concerned grandfathers. In fathers and mothers, the detection of hypercholesterolemia was not associated with the frequency of alcohol consumption in families.
SANITARY AND ANTI-EPIDEMIC PROVISION OF THE VORONEZH REGION DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Abstract
The emergence of a new viral infection (COVID-19), transmitted at a tremendous rate, has raised the question of scientists about the development of measures to ensure the safety of mankind. The globalization of transport links between countries has led to the importation and very rapid spread of infection in new territories. Thus, the world community, and Russia in particular, faced the question of carrying out anti-epidemic measures aimed at reducing the rate of infection spread and preserving human lives. To analyze sanitary-anti-epidemic and sanitary-preventive measures in case of a new coronavirus infection in the territory of the Voronezh region. By means of a questionnaire to study the attitude of the population to COVID-19 and the activities carried out by Rospotrebnadzor, the Ministry of Health and the Administration of the Voronezh region. Review and analysis of information on the implementation of preventive measures in the Voronezh region for the period of the COVID-2019 pandemic. The research part includes conducting an anonymous survey among different age groups (young people from 18 to 44 years old, middle-aged people from 45 to 59 years old, elderly citizens aged 60 to 74 years old) in the number of 103 people, in the period from September to December 2022. As a result of the conducted research by the method of population survey, it was determined that vaccination is considered the basis for the prevention of COVID-19 morbidity, and work with the population through the media is in second place, restrictive measures, self-isolation are in third place, and mask mode, wearing gloves and using antiseptics are in fourth place. The most common argument for vaccination is to protect yourself and your family. Respondents fully trust domestic vaccines, consider them safe and reliable. The majority of the population supports and complies with the actions of Rospotrebnadzor, the Administration and the Ministry of Health of the Voronezh Region. Thus, the implementation of a set of measures for the organization of federal state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance, effective planning of control and supervisory activities; timely adoption of targeted management decisions made it possible to ensure a stable sanitary and epidemiological situation regarding the spread of COVID-19 throughout the entire period of the pandemic in the Voronezh Region. The sanitary and epidemiological situation in the Voronezh Region is characterized as manageable, which made it possible to pass a difficult period of peak loads with minimal losses due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
FEATURES OF TREATMENT OF PRIMARY HYPOSPADIAS IN ADOLESCENTS
Abstract
Hypospadias are one of the most frequent congenital pathologies of the penis, which is characterized by the presence of an ectopically located myatus, accompanied by a violation of urination, as well as quite often a curvature of the cavernous bodies. The purpose of the correction is to restore the anatomically normal appearance of the penis, to ensure free, unhindered urination and the return of full sexual function. We present the results of the analysis of the treatment of hypospadias in 512 adolescents aged 12-17 years. The examination included a Hypospadias objective scoring evaluation (HOSE) scale, specially designed for this developmental anomaly, consisting of 4 items showing satisfaction with the surgical intervention performed to correct hypospadias (the position and shape of the myatus, the shape of the glans penis and the overall cosmetic result). This study is aimed at studying the psychosexual development of adolescents who underwent correction of hypospadias, compared with boys who underwent surgery at an early age. A later onset of sexual activity and less satisfaction with the overall cosmetic appearance was found in patients with hypospadias correction in adolescence. Adolescents with hypospadias demonstrate a more negative self-perception of the penis.
ANALYSIS OF SANITARY AND CHEMICAL POLLUTION OF DRINKING WATER WITH FLUORINE IN TVER REGION
Abstract
The results of a study of fluoride contamination of drinking water (DW) in the Tver region for 2019-2021 are presented. For the analysis, data from the state reports "On the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the Tver region" of the Rospotrebnadzor for the Tver Region for 2019-2021 were used. The information obtained from these reports shows that the average annual concentration of fluoride in the centralized water supply systems of the Tver region as a whole does not exceed the maximum permissible concentration (MPC). But in some territories of the Tver region and Tver is found to exceed the permissible norms of fluorine content in DW. This is due to the predominant provision of DW to the population at the expense of underground water sources. The increased content of fluorine in these sources is due to the long contact of the underground stream with phosphorite deposits [1], as well as the lack of properly arranged sanitary protection zones for some water sources and violation of the order of operation of water pipes. Standardized methods of de-fluoridation (defluorination) of DW for mass consumption are also not used in the Tver Region. It is proposed to use preventive measures when working with the population in those areas of the Tver region where the concentration of fluoride in DW exceeds the MPC.

COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF STREPTOCOCCUS AND STAPHYLOCOCCUS GAS TRANSMITTERS IN HEALTHY PEOPLE AND PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC GENERALIZED PERIODONTITIS
Abstract
Chronic generalized periodontitis (CGP) is a common pathology, the key role in the etiology of which is played by the metabolic activity of the microbiota. The article describes the results of the gas metabolic activity of streptococci and staphylococci isolated from healthy patients and patients with CGP. A special role belongs to gaseous compounds of microbial origin: NO, CO, N2, СО2, О2.It is known that in humans, NO regulates regional blood flow, transport of water and electrolytes, immunity, energy metabolism, acts as a neurotransmitter in the nervous system. CO molecules in low concentrations have anti-apoptotic, anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative effects. N2 and O2 characterize the level of influence of microorganisms on the periodontal tissue under the conditions of inflammation established that streptococci and staphylococci cavity of patients with CGP patients in large quantities are distinguished by CO2 and CO and in small quantities-no compared to allocated staphylococci and streptococci from patients not suffering from pathology . There was also a low concentration of N2 and O2 in the microbiota isolated from patients with CGP. The results obtained can be used in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of periodontal tissues.
FEATURES OF THE APPROACH AND CORRECTION OF IRON DEFICIENCY ANEMIA IN WOMEN WITH INFLAMMATORY DISEASES OF THE PELVIC ORGANS
Abstract
It has now been established that the course of inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs is accompanied by various types of anemia. The most common is iron deficiency. This problem is missed even at the outpatient - polyclinic level, without finding out the reasons for its occurrence. After analyzing the literature, today there is a rather limited range of publications devoted to the treatment of anemic syndrome against the background of inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs [1].
PROBLEMS OF MALOCCLUSION PATHOLOGY – MYTHS AND REALITY
Abstract
Orthodontics is a section of dentistry that studies the causes of the formation of bite pathology and the impact of bite status on the body. As social issues, including mine, show, people turn to orthodontists mainly in two cases: because of the desire for an aesthetic smile or with extreme violations of the dentoalveolar apparatus. However, pathological bite is the cause of diseases not only of the musculoskeletal system, but also of the body as a whole. That is why the importance of orthodontics in medicine cannot be underestimated.
SAFETY OF FERMENTED MILK PRODUCTS WITH EXPIRING SHELF LIFE, SOLD IN COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISES OF THE KURSK REGION
Abstract
Quite often, in the first rows on the shelves of grocery stores, you can find products with an expiring expiration date. A person who has not paid attention to the expiration date, be sure to buy this product. We wondered if these products contain pathogenic microflora and how safe they are. Therefore, in this paper we have considered topical issues of sanitary microbiology, considering the safe use of fermented milk products with an expiring shelf life, sold at trading enterprises of the Kursk region. To assess the sanitary state of production and the safety of their consumption, we studied the microbial composition of fermented milk products with an expiring shelf life. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: to investigate the range of dairy products; to assess the microbiological composition of milk and fermented milk products with an expiring shelf life; to identify the presence of pathogenic microflora in products; to determine the amount of lactic acid microorganisms. The main microbiological methods – bacteriological and bacterioscopic - were used in the work. After the results, we came to the conclusion that only fermented milk bacteria were found in each of their products. Thus, the use of expired products is safe for the human body.
RESULTS OF EPIDEMIOLOGICAL SURVEILLANCE OF COMMUNITY-ACQUIRED PNEUMONIA IN THE DONETSK PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC
Abstract
Community-acquired pneumonia is widespread in all countries of the world and is among the leading causes of death from infectious diseases. We conducted a retrospective epidemiological analysis to assess the epidemic situation of community-acquired pneumonia in the Donetsk People's Republic in 2022. 9140 cases of community-acquired pneumonia were registered. The incidence of them decreased by 6.4 times compared to 2021. The age structure of the sick was dominated by adults, however, the proportion of sick children increased by 2 times compared to 2021. Among adults, the high-risk group for VP were people aged 65 years and older who were sick 2 times more often than the rest of the adult population. In the future, the epidemic situation of community-acquired infections will be determined by the activity and etiological structure of pathogens circulating among the population, the state of immunity of the population and the quality of early etiological diagnosis. Taking into account the current situation in the Donetsk People's Republic regarding the registration of community-acquired pneumonia, the incidence of which is still insufficiently analyzed by the epidemic departments of the sanitary and epidemiological surveillance centers, the possibilities of forecasting and developing effective measures to combat this group of infections remain severely limited.
COLLAGENOGENESIS AND ITS ROLE IN THE FORMATION OF MYOCARDIAL FIBROSIS IN ELDERLY WOMEN WITH ISOLATED SYSTOLIC ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION
Abstract
The article discusses the pathogenesis and the role of collagenogenesis in the formation of myocardial fibrosis in elderly women with isolated systolic arterial hypertension (AH). The mechanisms of pathogenesis, changes in the structure of the myocardium in this pathology were analyzed. According to statistics, about 30% of patients aged 40 have a diagnosis of hypertension, while about 70% of people aged 70 years or more had elevated blood pressure figures. Also, by its pathogenesis, arterial hypertension remains the most significant problem in the group of diseases of the cardiovascular system. For the modern population, there is a tendency to increase the number of people over 60 years old, which in the future may lead to a quantitative increase in pathologies of the cardiovascular system, in particular arterial hypertension. To improve the health status of patients diagnosed with isolated systolic hypertension, it is necessary to carry out not only high-quality nosology treatment, but also to study in detail the pathogenesis for timely prevention of diseases. Among the leading causes of arterial hypertension are changes in the heart muscle (mainly the left ventricle), that is, myocardial hypertrophy (remodeling of the left ventricle), which is manifested by an increase in the number and mass of cardiomyocytes, increasing fibrosis.

FEATURES OF THE STRUCTURAL ORGANIZATION OF THE SKIN OF MEN IN THE OLDER AGE PERIOD WHO HAVE SUFFERED FROM COVID – 19 DISEASES
Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of the effect of coronavirus infection on the structural organization of the skin of men in the older age period. The study was conducted using pathoanatomic material of 60 elderly and senile men who died (the cause of death is not related to Covid-19 and skin diseases) for the period from January 2021 to February 2022. The material was skin fragments (2x2 cm). The slices were stained with hematoxylin and eosin, according to Mallory, according to Van Gieson. The patients were divided into groups: group I (control) – it included 30 people who did not have COVID-19 disease, group II (experimental) – it included 30 people who had COVID-19 disease. The study revealed the following changes in indicators: a noticeable increase in the number of lymphocytes by 30 cells, a slight increase in the thickness of the mesh and papillary layer, in the experimental group, an increase in the ratio of the papillary layer to the mesh, in the experimental group, compared with the control. Based on the above, we draw attention to the fact that men infected with SARS-CoV-2 had pronounced inflammatory changes on the skin. It can be assumed that these manifestations are the effect of the SARS-CoV-2 virus on the microcirculatory bed of the skin.

PATHOGENESIS OF MICROANGIOPATHIES IN TYPE 1 DIABETES MELLITUS AND THE SIGNIFICANCE OF USING THE INSULIN PUMP FOR THEIR PREVENTION
Abstract
In this research paper, we consider the use of an insulin pump as one of the methods for preventing microangiopathy in patients with type 1 diabetes. Diabetes mellitus is one of the most serious medical, social and economic problems of the healthcare system worldwide [1]. DM is one of the most common chronic diseases in the Russian Federation. As of the end of 2020, there were about 4.8 million patients with diabetes, according to the federal registry. With decompensation of this disease, various complications arise. The most dangerous of them are cardiovascular diseases. Insulin pump therapy helps to avoid the development of complications in the form of microangiopathies. It can help reduce high blood glucose levels and stop the supply of insulin in case of hypoglycemia. In order to ensure effective glycemic control throughout the day, the patient must use a continuous monitoring system. Monitoring allows you to see your glucose levels in real time. This allows you to timely correct fluctuations in glycemia during the day. Thus, using insulin pump therapy, it is possible to achieve compensation for type 1 diabetes mellitus and reduce the risk of developing microangiopathies.
DIAGNOSTIC CAPABILITIES OF THE ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHIC CRITERION OF LEFT VENTRICULAR HYPERTROPHY PEGUERO-LOPRESTI IN PATIENTS WITH HYPERTENSION AND OBESITY
Abstract
A comparison of the diagnostic characteristics of the Peguero-Lo Presti ECG test in 63 patients with hypertension with obesity and 54 patients without obesity showed that a positive criterion does not allow the diagnosis of LVH in patients with hypertension, regardless of the presence or absence of obesity. A negative result of the criterion makes it possible to exclude the presence of LVH, and in obese patients the prognostic value of the negative criterion is higher than in non-obese patients.

Abstract
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a spectrum of liver diseases that is a current global problem affecting all corners of the world and is characterized by excessive accumulation of fat in the liver. The diagnosis of NAFLD often coexists with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2), obesity, and heart disease. The article deals with the prognostic and diagnostic significance of the ratio of neutrophils to lymphocytes (ONL) and C-reactive protein (CRP) in patients with NAFLD complicated by decompensated type 2 diabetes.
APPLICATION OF MODERN MEDICAL DEVICES FOR TEMPORARY STOP OF EXTERNAL ARTERIAL BLEEDING IN WOUNDS AND INJURIES UNDER EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
Abstract
External arterial bleeding (AC) is one of the main causes of death in emergency situations. That is why the study of the features of stopping the AK is a priority task not only for medical workers, but also for participants in hostilities, as well as the civilian population [1]. The article highlights the modern aspects of the use of a hemostatic tourniquet (QL) in the provision of first aid and medical assistance to victims in cases of damage to the main vessels of the extremities in an emergency. In the course of the study, the indications and the algorithm of temporary stopping of AK at the prehospital stage were analyzed using modern medical devices - QL. In the course of the work, a comparative assessment of the main types of modern QL (elastic, pneumatic and turnstiles), as well as the most common modifications of QL, which are currently most widely used in providing assistance to victims of emergencies, was carried out. The quality of the materials that served as the basis for the manufacture of QL and their most important technical features are analyzed. Attention is drawn to the advantages and disadvantages of various QL. Based on the results of the study, proposals have been developed for the use of modern QOL in various emergency conditions.

The applied modeling methods were based on: simultaneous ligation of one and both common carotid arteries, as well as the method of thromboembolism of the middle cerebral artery (MCA). Conclusion. The most adequate model is a method based on blocking blood flow in the basin of the middle cerebral artery using thromboembolism with embolus-like substances, which is confirmed by the results obtained.
QUALITY OF LIFE OF ACNE PATIENTS
Abstract
The issue of the increase in the incidence of acne among young and middle-aged people is raised by many authors. Acne tends to become chronic, contributing to the spread of foci of infection on the skin of the face and beyond. However, in addition to physical discomfort, this pathology entails social and psychological problems for patients. A change in the appearance of facial skin contributes to a decrease in self-esteem and quality of life of a person, complicates his social interaction. Acne is a multifactorial, polyetiological disease, and therefore the prognosis of the occurrence and development of this nosology is very difficult. Cicatricial processes and post-acne also contribute to a change in the condition of a person's skin and his sense of self. Studying the level of quality of life of patients with acne is an important step towards stabilizing their psychological state. During the study, the dermatological index of the quality of life of patients with acne was determined, and the severity of the course of the disease was also assessed. So, often even with a mild course of acne, changes in self-esteem and social behavior of a person are observed, which necessitates expanding the range of therapeutic measures. Working with a psychologist on self-esteem and self-awareness can help change the patient's attitude to his disease, achieve a sense of inner harmony, which will also have a beneficial effect on the course of acne.

PREVALENCE AND STRUCTURE OF CARDIOVASCULAR COMPLICATIONS OF A NEW CORONAVIRUS INFECTION IN PATIENTS WHO HAVE SUFFERED AN ISCHEMIC STROKE
Abstract
A significant increase in cardiovascular morbidity in 2020-2022 is objectively associated with COVID-19, which is characterized not only by a pandemic level of prevalence, the development of severe and fatal complications in a large percentage of cases, but also by a variety of changes from different body systems, including cardiovascular complications that occur both in acute and post-acute period. The aim of the work was to study the prevalence and structure of cardiovascular complications of COVID-19 in patients who have suffered an ischemic stroke. Data from the BARS medical electronic system of 109 patients who suffered an ischemic stroke in the middle cerebral artery basin were analyzed. A search was conducted for patients who underwent COVID-19 in the period from April 2020 to December 2022, as a result of which 33 patients were identified who met this criterion. Distribution of patients by gender: 14 (42%) women (average age – 70 (56;85) years) and 19 (58%) men (average age - 63 (53;75) years). Acute complications included myocardial infarction, venous and arterial embolism, newly diagnosed heart failure or decompensation of previously existing heart failure, repeated ischemic stroke detected within 4 weeks after confirmation of COVID-19. As a result, which were detected in patients, but already in the post-ovoid period (more than 4 weeks later). Analysis of the data obtained indicates that in the acute period in 3 patients (9%; 2 women and 1 man) were diagnosed with: myocardial infarction, embolism of the arteries of the lower extremities, heart failure. Two of these patients underwent inpatient treatment according to clinical recommendations, the severity of COVID-19 was assessed as moderate and severe; the development of severe pneumonia complicated by respiratory failure was noted in both cases. The development of myocardial infarction in one patient led to a fatal outcome, and the course of COVID-19 in this case was characterized as mild and the patient did not receive treatment at the outpatient stage. In the long-term period, 4 patients (12%; 3 women and 1 man) had newly diagnosed heart failure (2 patients), myocardial infarction (2 patients), repeated ischemic stroke in the BBA (1 patient). Two of these patients suffered COVID-19 easily and received outpatient treatment, while the rest were treated in a hospital, the course of COVID-19 was characterized as moderate severity and was accompanied by the development of severe pneumonia complicated by respiratory failure. The development of such a variety of cardiovascular manifestations in COVID-19 may be due to the presence of interrelated pathogenesis links, such as endothelial dysfunction, coagulopathy, systemic inflammation and hypoxia.

STUDY OF CHANGES IN THE PANCREAS AFTER TRAUMATIC EXPOSURE BY SCIENTISTS OF THE KURSK MEDICAL INSTITUTE
Abstract
The article describes the achievements of scientists of the Kursk Medical Institute in the field of studying the regeneration of the pancreas after penetrating wounds in the abdominal cavity. Studies of this kind were very relevant in the years after the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The work was carried out under the guidance of the head of the department of histology I.D. Richter. The regeneration of the pancreas was studied in the field of thermal effects and mechanical crushing of its part. Tissue changes were carried out for a month, the first week daily, and then weekly. Long-term effects were studied after 6 months and 1 year. In experiments on cats and rabbits, reparative changes in the pancreas were shown, the regenerative capabilities of the exocrine and endocrine parts of the pancreas were compared, and greater opportunities for regeneration in its exocrine part were shown compared to the islets of Langerhans, which are more vulnerable to mechanical and thermal damage.

FEATURES OF THE STRUCTURAL ORGANIZATION OF THE SKIN OF WOMEN IN THE OLDER AGE PERIOD WHO HAVE HAD THE DISEASE COVID-19
Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of the effect of coronavirus infection on the structural organization of the skin of men in the older age period. The study was conducted using pathoanatomic material of 60 elderly and senile women who died (the cause of death is not related to Covid-19 and skin diseases) for the period January 2021 – February 2022. Skin fragments (2x2 cm) served as the material. The sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin, according to Mallory, according to Van Gieson. The patients were divided into groups: group I (control) – it included 30 people who did not have COVID-19 disease, group II (experimental) – it included 30 people who had COVID-19 disease. During the study, the following changes in indicators were revealed: a noticeable increase in the number of lymphocytes by 30 cells, a slight increase in the thickness of the mesh and papillary layer, in the experimental group, an increase in the ratio of the papillary layer to the mesh, in the experimental group, compared with the control. Based on the above, we draw attention to the fact that women infected with SARS-CoV-2 had pronounced inflammatory changes in the skin. It can be assumed that these manifestations are the effect of the SARS-CoV-2 virus on the microcirculatory bed of the skin.
IDENTIFICATION OF FACTORS INFLUENCING THE CHANGE IN THE WORK OF THE VISUAL ANALYZER AMONG STUDENTS OF DIFFERENT UNIVERSITIES
Abstract
The 21st century forces us to keep pace with progress, whether we like it or not. Modernity is the time of progressive technologies, scientific breakthroughs and innovations. It is no secret that the study of a medical student is not an easy obstacle on the way to professional development. A large amount of information, difficult disciplines, high psycho-emotional stress. Is there a pattern between the time spent on learning, the method of controlling knowledge and studying information, and the state of the visual apparatus, or do modern realities dictate the need for constant use of digital media? The study conducted a survey of students from various Voronezh challenges, among which were: VSMU, VSU, VSAU, analyzed the main aspects of study, such as the type of work most common in a particular educational institution, the number of required tests, etc. and time A pattern was also revealed between the type of work, the time required to complete it, the obligation and the change in visual acuity. As a result of the work, a conclusion was formulated on the impact of the contract type of work and the time spent on it on the visual apparatus. In conclusion, there are also recommendations derived from the questioning of students.
ACUTE HEPATIC PORPHYRY. NEW APPROACHES IN THE STUDY OF ACUTE HEPATIC PORFIRIIA IN THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN
Abstract
Porphyrias are a group of hereditary diseases caused by a deficiency of one of the heme synthesis enzymes, protoporphyrin. The most common of the acute porphyrias is acute hepatic porphyria (AHP), in which there is an excessive accumulation of porphyrins and their precursors - δ-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) and porphobilinogen (PBG), which have pronounced neurotoxic effects and mediate the development of an acute attack of porphyria.
EVALUATION OF THE IMPACT OF THE INHIBITOR OF Γ-SECRETASE ON THE POLARIZATION OF IMMUN RESPONSE IN PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS
Abstract
The relevance of the study is due to the need to search for pathogenetic agents that can increase the effectiveness of tuberculosis treatment. In the course of the work, the significance of the Notch signaling pathway in the pathogenesis of drug-susceptible and drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis was established. Modulating effect of gamma-secretase inhibitor (DAPT – N-[N-(3,5-Difluorophenacetyl)-L-alanyl]-S-phenylglycine t-butyl ester – N-[N-(3,5-difluorophenacetyl)-L- alanyl]-S-phenylglycine tert-butyl ether) on Notch-mediated differentiation of Th1- and Th2-lymphocytes allows us to consider this signaling pathway as a possible targeted target for the pathogenetic therapy of pulmonary tuberculosis.

FEATURES OF THE MANIFESTATION OF CANDIDIASIS OF THE ORAL MUCOSA IN PATIENTS WITH REMOVABLE DENTURES
Abstract
Identification of factors influencing the occurrence of candidiasis of the oral mucosa in patients with removable dentures. Methods. The study involved patients with acrylic removable dentures aged 65–80 years. Clinical examination of patients, questioning, determination of the hygienic state of removable dentures and the index of oral hygiene were carried out. Identified nutritional features, assessing the quality of fit of prostheses. When signs of candidal stomatitis were detected, patients were sent for a cultural study to detect fungi of the genus Candida. Results. In 23.3% of cases, atrophic candidiasis of the oral mucosa, 4.6% angular cheilitis, 2.3% cheilitis, and 4.6% candidal glossitis were detected. In 6.9%, a decrease in bite height was recorded. Carriage of fungi of the genus Candida was determined in 18.6% of cases, and in 4.6% with a significant content of colonies in swabs (more than 104 CFU/ml), candidiasis was diagnosed. In 70% of cases, the hygiene of the oral cavity and prostheses was unsatisfactory. According to the survey data, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract were detected in 46.5% of cases, type 2 diabetes mellitus in 13.9%, and smoking in 11.6%. Conclusions. Prolonged wearing of removable dentures during the day, especially at night, has an adverse effect on the condition of the palatal mucosa as a result of mechanical pressure and biofilm fixation on the denture. The presence of a comorbid pathology that reduces immunity, as well as the deterioration of the manual skills of patients with age and the progressive weakening of visual acuity contribute to the development and exacerbation of oral candidiasis.
LONG-TERM RESULTS OF TESTICULAR HYDATID TORSION IN PEDIATRIC PATIENTS
Abstract
The main content of the study is the analysis of the results of conservative treatment of children with testicular hydatid torsion. The issue of treatment and diagnostic tactics in such conditions continues to be debatable, and the established, firmly established ideas at the present time are already beginning to be revised [1]. There is an undoubted need for a clearly algorithmic, reliable tactics that would allow making a choice in the direction of the most optimal treatment option in each specific case [2]. Through a detailed analysis of patient data, as well as long-term results, it was concluded that a conservative approach to treatment is beneficial in children with testicular hydatid torsion. When the method of treatment was changed from conservative to surgical, there was no deterioration in the condition of the testis during the observation period. Accordingly, the potential need for it cannot be considered a contraindication to taking the conservative path. Summarizing the materials of practical experience, we can conclude that this method is the safest, most effective and modern, based on expanding the possibilities of diagnosing this pathology and timely monitoring of the scrotum in patients over time.
180 YEARS FROM THE BIRTH OF ROBERT KOCH: DOCTOR, MICROBIOLOGIST AND HYGIENIST
Abstract
Relevance. 2023 marks exactly 180 years since the birth of Heinrich Hermann Robert Koch, the great explorer, physician and microbiologist.
Purpose. Get acquainted with the biography of a brilliant scientist, one of the founders of today's epidemiology and bacteriology, and his great contribution to such an important science as microbiology.
Methods. Review and careful study of the literature that is devoted to this topic. The study of information from the archives of the university. Consolidation of information from historical sources about the life of Robert Koch.
Results. Koch had an enormous influence on the development of modern microbiology. He was the first to identify and cultivate the causative agent of anthrax, and also, to the smallest detail, managed to explain the life cycle of Bacillus anthracis, the features of which play an important role in human infection. It was the discovery of the causative agent of tuberculosis that brought Robert Koch the greatest fame, as well as the method he proposed for diagnosing this widespread infectious disease in the world. Thanks to his research, he was able to formulate three postulates, thanks to which it was possible to associate specific microorganisms with certain diseases, these important statements are known to many today as the Koch triad. It is also worth noting that, among other things, he also introduced into practice new methods for staining microbiological preparations, a special method of inoculation on dense nutrient media, as well as a method of microphotography that was revolutionary at that time. In 1905, Robert Koch received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his discoveries.
Conclusion. Knowledge of biographical information about world-famous scientists is an integral step in preparing students of medical universities for future professional activities [1].

ON THE ISSUE OF ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE IN THE XXI CENTURY (MEDICINE AND HEALING VS MODERN MEDICINE)
Abstract
The modern world is characterized by a powerful leap forward in science, and therefore medicine. However, this does not exclude the existence of alternative medicine, its active distribution. People from different generations, regardless of where they live, quite often resort to the help of healers or healers who do not have a medical education and a proper understanding of the work of the human body. The existence of "pseudo-medicine" is capable of harming a person not only in material terms, but also in physical terms, and worsen the state of health. The purpose of the study is to determine the attitude of people to non-traditional ways of obtaining medical care based on the analysis of the media and a sociological survey of residents of the city of Voronezh and the region. A survey of the population of different age groups and places of residence was conducted. The respondents were 225 people, including 189 people in the age range under 25 years old and 36 people over 25 years old, 153 urban residents, 72 rural residents. An analysis was also made of ads on the Internet, newspapers, magazines and pages on social networks. As a result, a holistic view of the prevalence of alternative medicine was formed and the reasons that contributed to this were identified. It was also indicated the need to take measures to combat the "pseudo-medicine" industry, in order to exclude its negative impact on the population.
СOMPLICATION OF TESTICULAR PROSTHETICS IN ADULTS AND ADOLESCENTS
Abstract
The problem of complications of testicular prosthetics in both adult patients and adolescents is rather sparsely and fragmentally sanctified in the few domestic and foreign specialized literature. Most publications demonstrate their own results, with a small number of patients. For the first time, a comprehensive multifactorial analysis of the identified complications was carried out in various age groups in order to select the tactics of surgical treatment of patients and minimize the number of postoperative complications. High-quality selection of patients, according to several criteria, allows you to compile correct statistics on surgical interventions performed and determine treatment tactics that contribute to the reduction of all possible postoperative complications, including long-term results, to a minimum number. Also, the correct selection of the implant by size, materials used, and the choice of surgical access leads patients to satisfaction with postoperative results. Timely surgical intervention allows patients to continue to live a full social life without experiencing discomfort, feelings of inferiority, depression and other psychological disorders, both in adolescence, when the formation of the patient's personality in society is particularly important, and at a more mature age.

There were no differences in perinatal outcomes between the two groups.
DYNAMICS OF ACCIDENTS AS A RESULT OF DRUNK DRIVING IN TVER REGION OVER THE LAST 5 YEARS
Abstract
Alcoholism is a global problem of modern society. Currently, the number of drivers who drink alcohol is growing, which can lead to an increase in the number of accidents [1]. The aim of the study was to analyze the statistics of traffic accidents for reasons related to alcohol intoxication and to assess the nature of dynamic indicators. In this regard, the official data of the traffic police of Russia for 2018-2022 in the Tver region were studied in three categories: traffic accidents with drivers in a state of intoxication; road accidents with drivers with signs of intoxication; Road accidents with drivers who refused medical examination [2]. The obtained indicators were analyzed and mathematically processed, the absolute numbers were converted into relative ones, graphs were drawn showing the dynamics of the accident. Thus, during the study, it was revealed that the problem of drunk driving for the Tver region is still relevant and acutely social, but compared to previous years, it can be seen that the number of accidents has significantly decreased in almost all indicators. This indicates that the applied punitive and preventive measures are effective, and we should continue to develop this area of public activity.
PREVALENCE OF MINOR MALFORMATIONS OF THE MAXILLOFACIAL REGION AMONG THE POPULATION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Abstract
This article is conceived to analyze the frequency of occurrence of minor maxillofacial congenital deformities (IDA) in the Russian Federation. There is a lack of relevant data and research on the frequency of IDA occurence in the Russian population. The aforementioned frequency is rather high and is currently not definitively established. In this study we have analyzed a database of 14080 residents of the Russian Federation aged 17 to 75 years. IDA was registered in 17.8% of respondents, the most frequent findings were: malocclusion, multiple dental caries lesions, anomalies of teeth development and teething, a curved nasal septum and non-carious enamel lesion, 4.6% of respondents had more than three IDA at the same time. In regards to gender, our analysis has revealed that women are statistically more likely to have: non-carious enamel damage, dental caries damage and external ear cancer, men have a high-arched palate. We have also analyzed several correlations, whith a moderate correlation and direct close noticeable correlation being revealed between the characteristics. There is a high clinical importance of not only the frequency of IDA occurence , but also their qantity and specific combinations in the body. The analysis of IDA patients will help to individualize preventive measures and reduce the incidence of the population in a number of positions.
ASSESSMENT OF THE LEVEL OF ASTHENIZATION AMONG MEDICAL WORKERS OF STATE HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS IN SIMFEROPOL
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to study the prevalence and structure of asthenic disorders in workers of medical and preventive institutions in Simferopol. A survey was conducted on the MFI-20 scale (Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory) of 45 medical workers (30 women and 15 men; average age - 39.4 years). An integral indicator of the overall severity of asthenia on the MFI-20 scale of more than 60 points and more than 12 points of at least one of the subscales, which allows the diagnosis of "asthenic syndrome", was detected in 53.3% of the subjects, among whom female persons aged 40-52 years prevailed. The average value of the total assessment of asthenia was 64.9 points, the level of general asthenia - 15.2 points, decreased activity – 14.3 points, reduced motivation – 12.4 points, physical asthenia – 12.5 points, mental asthenia - 10.9 points. The structure of subjective manifestations of asthenia was dominated by emotional disorders and sleep disorders (70.83%), decreased concentration and memory (41.7%). Among the factors contributing to asthenization, the majority of medical workers indicated stressful and conflict situations (79.17%), night work (70.83%), unfavorable working conditions and physical overstrain (20.83%). Thus, medical personnel are at risk for the formation of asthenic disorders, which requires timely diagnosis and adequate correction with the use of comprehensive preventive measures.
STUDYING THE LEVEL OF AWARENESS OF THE POPULATION ABOUT THE MECHANISMS OF THE ACTION OF OZONE THERAPY ON THE HUMAN BODY
Abstract
"Ozone therapy" is a unique treatment method used for a wide range of diseases with a wide variety of clinical effects using an ozone-oxygen mixture consisting of 5% ozone and 95% oxygen. The resulting atomic oxygen (O) reacts with a molecule (O2), forming ozone (O3). To date, the efforts of scientists and practitioners, both in our country and their foreign colleagues, have studied many mechanisms of the therapeutic and healing effects of ozone, and developed specific methods of ozone therapy. All this makes it possible to actively use this method in the rehabilitation of patients with chronic disorders of cerebral hemodynamics, after suffering ischemic brain lesions, in people with pathology of the digestive system, with diabetes mellitus, diseases of the female genital organs and many other areas of modern clinical medicine. Ozone therapy has been gradually adopted by our foreign colleagues in various fields of medicine because it has been safe, convenient and inexpensive since the twentieth century. The use of ozone therapy for the prevention of various diseases is at the initial stage of development in Russia, therefore, at present, the scientific community has a high interest in introducing such therapy into all types of both rehabilitation and preventive measures for various pathologies (for example, diseases of the respiratory tract, skin, urinary system and many others). An online survey was conducted among 50 people of different age groups and professions to study the level of public awareness of issues related to ozone therapy. The data obtained were processed by methods of variant statistics to identify patterns between the answers of men and women.
TREATMENT OF PERSISTENT ALLERGIC RHINITIS IN PATIENTS WITH IMPAIRED MICROBIAL LANDSCAPE OF THE NASAL MUCOSA
Abstract
The traditional regimen for the treatment of persistent allergic rhinitis (PAR), regulated in clinical guidelines, does not always allow achieving a stable remission of the atopic process, and therefore patients are forced to regularly take hyposensitizing and corticosteroid drugs, which significantly worsens their quality of life and places a persistent burden on the family budget . One of the possible reasons for the insufficient effectiveness of the basic treatment regimen for the disease is a violation of local immune homeostasis, in which, under the influence of bacterial antigens, a non-IgE-mediated allergic reaction develops, caused by allergen-specific lymphocytes or antibodies of the IgG class with the formation of immune complexes. The pathogenesis of infection-dependent PAR, which differs from the classical one, requires optimization of methods for treating this pathology, which determines the relevance of this study. The author proposed a three-stage scheme for bacterial sanitation of the nasal mucosa, which includes an antibacterial drug selected taking into account the individual sensitivity of the inoculated microorganism, immunomodulatory and elimination drugs, a synbiotic and a bacterial lysate. The proposed scheme made it possible to achieve a stable and long-term remission of chronic eosinophilic inflammation by reducing the bacterial antigenic load on the nasal mucosa and, consequently, the severity of allergic inflammation in PAR patients with a disturbed microbial landscape of the nasal mucosa.
HERZBERG'S TWO-FACTOR THEORY AND EVALUATION OF THE POSSIBILITY OF USING THE DATA OBTAINED TO MOTIVATE AND PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF EMPLOYEES OF THE TESTING LABORATORY CENTER
Abstract
Based on Herzberg's theory, employee motivation can be improved by using incentives: hygiene factors and motivation factors. The aim of the study was to evaluate the possibilities of using the two-factor theory of Herzberg to increase motivation, optimize working conditions and preserve the working capacity and health of employees of the testing laboratory center. Materials and methods. 100 employees of Rospotrebnadzor laboratories took part in the study. Based on Hertzberg's theory, a questionnaire was developed to study the motivation of specialists' performance. The data were processed using statistical research methods. Results. Among the specialists of hygienic laboratories, the most significant hygiene factors are: interpersonal relationships (84%), working conditions (79%) and occupational safety (58%), among epidemiological specialists - remuneration (88%), interpersonal relationships (85%), working conditions (82%) and occupational safety (79%). The hygienic group had a significantly lower positive coefficient for occupational safety than the epidemiological group (p<0.05), and the epidemiological group had a significantly higher remuneration coefficient than the hygienic group (p<0.05). Conclusions. According to the results of cluster analysis, three groups were identified. The key for the first group is the age of 30-50 years and the predominance of factors: remuneration, interpersonal relationships, the possibility of personal development, recognition and achievements. The second group is characterized by an age mainly older than 50 years. The main factors are safety and working conditions, position and management style, the amount of responsibility. In the third group, the majority of respondents were 30-50 years old. Among the main factors are remuneration, interpersonal relationships, the amount of responsibility and recognition. Based on the data obtained, preventive measures are proposed to increase motivation and preserve the health and efficiency of ILC employees.

The results obtained with each individual service were compared with the commonly used Russian-language counterpart, on the basis of which the clarity of the translation for the researcher's understanding was determined. The obtained data was summarised in a table, with the number of accurate and inaccurate translations expressed as a percentage for each individual service. The highest translation accuracy was observed for Google Translate (65%), the lowest for Yandex Translator (45%). The average number of matches is 53.3%. The authors conclude that machine translation currently does not provide the necessary accuracy when dealing with foreign text.
COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE CONTENT OF WATER-SOLUBLE POLYSACCHARIDES IN DIFFERENT MORPHOLOGICAL PARTS OF SCUTELLARIA BAICALENSIS GEORGI
Abstract
The study is aimed at conducting a comparative analysis of the content of water-soluble polysaccharides in various morphological parts of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, which have a rich chemical composition. The objects of study were the leaves, stems and roots of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, which were harvested in the period 2019-2021. Determination of the content of water-soluble polysaccharides was carried out under laboratory conditions in five repetitions by gravimetry after preliminary acid hydrolysis for 10 hours in terms of galactose. An analysis of the data obtained allows us to conclude that, as the plant matured, the accumulation of water-soluble polysaccharides in various morphological parts increased. The maximum concentration of water-soluble polysaccharides was observed in the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, and the minimum in the stems. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the use and further study of the chemical composition of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, cultivated in the Astrakhan region, is a promising area of medical science. Natural polysaccharides are of great interest due to the fact that they have a wide range of pharmacological activities and the ability to restore performance, which can be actively used in sports medicine.

ASSESSMENT OF THE SEVERITY OF DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY IN PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH PERSISTENT AND SIGNIFICANT IMPAIRMENT AUDITORY FUNCTION
Abstract
Persistent and significant hearing impairments observed in children from early childhood are a powerful stress factor for the family. Parents are faced with the need to organize their lives, personal and professional interests, family life, taking into account the sensory disorders of the child and the need to meet his specific needs in education, development and rehabilitation. The irreversibility of sensory disorders and, sometimes, the impossibility of their full-fledged correction, along with changes in their own life plans and prospects, often cause emotional disorders in parents. The presence of long–term emotional disorders dulls their awareness by parents - they are perceived not as a problem requiring solution, but as a "conditional norm". In addition, in families of children with disabilities, traditionally the focus of attention is centered on the child, and not on the problems and well-being of the parents. Many of them do not seek help, even if they feel depressed, irritable, angry. We tested 76 parents with children with persistent and significant hearing impairments using PHQ – 9 and GAD – 7 test methods. Signs of depression were found in 69 (91%), manifestations of anxiety – in 59 (77.6%) parents. Parents' awareness of information about their mental state can initiate their appeal for help in order to correct the identified emotional disorders. It is necessary to continue research of this kind with the subsequent development of emotional support and psychological support programs for parents raising children with persistent and significant hearing impairments.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the current problem of providing drug treatment at home. The treatment of patients with drug addiction has always been a very difficult task, which is primarily due to the very nature of this disease, so the work is interdisciplinary, written at the junction of a certain inextricable link between narcology and psychiatry. We analyzed the situation with drug treatment at home, based on Federal Law No. 323, which prescribes the basics of medical care. As a research part of the article, an attempt was made to assess the attitudes of medical students to the situation with drug treatment at home, to analyze their opinion in relation to such patients. Based on the conducted research, the maximum relevance of this topic is highlighted and justified at the present time. Also, special attention should be paid to the discussion at the state level of the problem of providing drug treatment at home, the revision of laws that will address this topic, the conditions for providing assistance and court decisions. This problem has been little studied and requires further research. The idea that this problem is a big problem of social society is substantiated.
PREVALENCE AND DYNAMICS OF RESPIRATORY DISEASES AMONG THE POPULATION OF THE KURSK REGION
Abstract
The dynamics of diseases of the respiratory system before and after the COVID-19 pandemic among the adult population of the Kursk region of the Seimas district of the city of Kursk was studied and the structure of the main nosological forms of diseases of the respiratory system was determined. Respiratory diseases among the adult population of Russia occupy the third place after malignant neoplasms and diseases of the cardiovascular system. The structure of respiratory system diseases in the adult population of the Kursk region of the Seimas district of the city of Kursk, which corresponds to the data for the Russian Federation, has been revealed. In the first place in terms of the number of patients among the adult population of Kursk are such diseases as bronchitis, emphysema and other COPD, and their number for the entire period from 2017 to 2021 is 11 times more than pneumonia and 13 times higher than the incidence of bronchial asthma. In second place is the disease asthma. The third place is the incidence of pneumonia, which developed as a complication of COVID-19, which is why a sharp increase has been recorded since 2019.. At the same time, the incidence of pneumonia in the population is 11 times less than the incidence of bronchitis, emphysema and other COPD.
FREQUENCY AND CORRECTION OF BEVACIZUMAB-INDUCED HYPERTENSION IN CANCER PATIENTS
Abstract
The aim of the study is to determine the incidence and treatment of arterial hypertension (AH) caused by bevacizumab. The medical records of patients treated with bevacizumab for colorectal cancer (CRC), pancreatic cancer (PCa), small cell lung cancer (SCLC), and renal cell cancer (RCC) were analyzed. Hypertension occurred a median of 12 weeks after bevacizumab therapy (range 4-34 weeks). 81.48% of patients had hypertension secondary to bevacizumab therapy. Antiangiogenic therapy-associated hypertension is a manageable toxicity that can be controlled with angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors).
3D-CULTURE OF HEK293 TUMOR CELLS AS AN EXPERIMENTAL MODEL IN ONCOLOGY
Abstract
Currently, oncological diseases are increasingly being detected in young and middle-aged people, jeopardizing both the prognosis for life and for working capacity. Today, the development of cellular technologies allows us to use tumor cell lines formed not only as a two-dimensional monolayer, but also in a three-dimensional form, which makes it possible to model the course of oncological processes and test new drugs under conditions that are closest to clinical ones. The aim of the study is to evaluate the 3D culture of tumor cells of the HEK293 line when testing chemotherapy drugs, in comparison with a monolayer. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional cultures were compared by assessing the resistance of cells to increasing concentrations of chemotherapy drugs in terms of LD50. Doxorubicin in flat culture has an antiproliferative effect, manifested to a greater extent due to pronounced cytotoxicity, compared with cisplanin. The 3D culture is more resistant to the action of chemotherapy drugs in relation to cell division, which is associated with its surface growth zone and the effect of the active substance on it, and at the same time, it is equally susceptible to the cytotoxic effect, like the two-dimensional culture.
DYNAMICS OF THE MASS COEFFICIENT OF THE LIVER AND KIDNEYS IN SUBCHRONIC CADMIUM INTOXICATION
Abstract
The integral indicator of the general condition of animals during intoxication is the mass coefficient of the organ. The liver and kidneys are the target organs of cadmium. The dynamics of the mass coefficient of the liver and kidneys of experimental sexually mature male Wistar rats with subchronic cadmium intoxication was studied. For 28 days, experimental animals received cadmium acetate with drinking water (15 ml / day) at a dosage of 1/50 LD50. A large variability of this indicator was revealed for the liver, which may be due to its more pronounced participation in the detoxification of cadmium. A statistically significant decrease in the liver mass coefficient of experimental animals compared with the control group was revealed on the 7th, 14th and 21st days of cadmium intake with drinking water, which may be due to inhibition of cell proliferation and synthetic activity. With further intake of cadmium, there are no differences with the control group, which may be due to the activation of various detoxification mechanisms, in particular, the synthesis of metallothioneins in hepatocytes. The relative weight of the kidneys in relation to the body weight of rats when receiving cadmium with drinking water does not change in comparison with control animals.
PREVALENCE OF NSAID-ASSOCIATED GASTRITIS AMONG MEDICAL STUDENTS
Abstract
Gastritis is an inflammation of the gastric mucosa. There are acute and chronic gastritis. Depending on the causes of the disease, acute and chronic forms of gastritis are distinguished. Acute gastritis occurs as a result of exposure to the gastric mucosa of certain substances (food intoxication, alcohol consumption, spicy, sour and spicy dishes, various medications, etc.).In the acute form of the disease, there is an increase in body temperature, pain and discomfort in the upper abdomen, nausea and vomiting, decreased appetite, diarrhea. Chronic gastritis develops with prolonged irritation of the gastric mucosa from food, alcohol, medicines, chemicals, with diseases of other organs that disrupt digestion (with diseases of the gallbladder, pancreas, intestines). The chronic form of gastritis is characterized by periods of exacerbations and remissions. Acute gastritis is characterized by symptoms such as: pain in the stomach; nausea; vomiting; a feeling of heaviness after eating. With gastritis, the gastric mucosa becomes inflamed. As a result, the digestive process is disrupted, which leads to the development of pain syndrome. This article examines the aspects of awareness of KSMU students concerning NSAID-associated gastritis, the prevalence of this disease is established, the main factors of its occurrence are identified.
THE STRUCTURE OF THE CAUSES OF BRONCHIAL ASTHMA AMONG SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN
Abstract
Bronchial asthma is a chronic disease that is accompanied by inflammation of the respiratory tract and a constant unproductive cough. Bronchial obstruction in children often occurs with a pronounced allergic reaction. Depending on the severity, mild, moderate and severe asthma are distinguished. According to the nature of the course, bronchial asthma is divided into asthmatic bronchitis, asthmatic asthma and asthmatic status. Bronchial asthma can be allergic and non-allergic. In Russia, about 400 thousand patients have been registered among children with bronchial asthma, however, according to a WHO study, the number of cases of this disease has increased by 10% in recent years. At the same time, there is a progressive obstruction of the bronchi caused by hypersensitivity to certain stimuli. This ailment is most often found in children, but it can also occur in adults. To stop asthma attacks, doctors often prescribe medications such as bronchodilators. Data of medicinal products
CHARACTERISTICS OF BLOOD SMEARS IN BABESIOSIS
Abstract
The epizootic situation for a number of diseases transmitted by ticks in urbanized cities has been deteriorating in our country over the past decade. The termination of the treatment of forests with pesticides on the territory of cities, led to uncontrolled reproduction of ticks and an increase in their population. The work investigated the seasonality of the epizootic process of parasitizing a tick of the genus Dermacentor, as well as accounting for the morbidity of animals on the basis of the veterinary diagnostic center of the city of Orel. It was found that the highest peak of morbidity was recorded from March to May and from September to November 2022. Peripheral blood smears of dogs with babesiosis were examined with an analysis of hematological parameters. The results of the work on the description of changes in the blood of animals made it possible to diagnose the disease at the early stages of its development and provide the necessary assistance in a timely manner. Currently, already at the early stages of studying the disease, when determining the diagnosis of babesiosis, it is necessary to take into account factors comprehensively: the epizootic situation in a particular locality, the seasonality and nature of the course of the disease, the clinical manifestation of the disease, the pathomorphological picture and the data obtained by microscopy of peripheral blood smears.
COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF INDICATORS OF VEGETATIVE REGULATION WITH ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION AND ITS COMBINATION WITH METABOLIC SYNDROME
Abstract
Changes in autonomic regulation in the comorbid course of arterial hypertension (AH) and metabolic syndrome (MS) require further study. The aim of the study was to assess the effect of MS on the indicators of autonomic regulation in hypertension. 95 patients with hypertension were examined, 47 of them men, 48 women; the average age was 58.7 ± 6.1 years. Patients were divided into two groups depending on the presence or absence of MS: the 1st group (comparison) included people with hypertension without MS (n = 49), the 2nd (main) - with hypertension and MS (n = 46). The analysis of heart rate variability (HRV) was applied according to a cardiointervalogram recorded over a short (five-minute) period of time. HRV indices were significantly lower in patients with hypertension with MS than in those without MS. In the presence of MS in patients with hypertension, vegetative disorders are aggravated in the direction of relative sympathicotonia, combined with parasympathetic insufficiency against the background of reduced functional capabilities of the heart, which forms unfavorable prognostic sings.
