THE BOTKIN'S MEDICAL DYNASTY
Abstract
Domestic medicine is distinguished by the presence of numerous labor dynasties, whose members pass on the accumulated knowledge from generation to generation, and also remain faithful to the profession even in the most difficult times for medicine. The problem of identifying the role of medical dynasties in the functioning of the entire institution is especially relevant for several reasons. First, the percentage of hereditary doctors in the modern health care system is quite high - about 50%. Secondly, today the issue of the lack of staffing of medical institutions with qualified specialists is especially acute [1].Therefore, representatives of medical dynasties are the main reserve force of the health institute. Thirdly, it is worth remembering that the continuity of experience and knowledge helps to maintain the stable development of any industry [2].

NOBEL LAUREATE WILHELM CONRAD ROENTGEN
Abstract
Until the twentieth century, doctors did not even think about the fact that in the future there would be opportunities to look inside a living person without making any incisions. Nobel Prize-winning physicists became the founders of the era of visualization of internal organs and a whole era of cooperation between physics and medicine. On January 3, 1896, the Vienna newspaper Neue Freie Presse published the first report on the rays discovered by Professor Roentgen. In Russia, X-rays "came" thanks to the physicist A. F. Ioffe-a student of X-ray, and already in 1896 in St. Petersburg, the first X-ray was taken. Modern medicine is currently completely impossible to imagine without the X-ray method simply. And science does not stand still. At the heart of such a widely used method as computed tomography, lies precisely the discovery of Conrad Roentgen.

THE FEAT OF MEDICAL WORKERS DURING THE SIEGE OF LENINGRAD
Abstract
During the blockade in hospitals, the walls were covered with frost, and doctors wore white coats over quilted jackets, and wrote in the medical history with pencils, because the ink simply froze in the inkwell.
On the part of the German army, everything was thought out to the smallest detail: the number of victims during the first and second months of the blockade, the epidemic and the final fall of Leningrad with its inhabitants.
The besieged Leningrad doctors not only supported life in the city, but also helped to give birth to a new one.
During the blockade, about 96 thousand children were born.During the period of the blockade, scientists and doctors collected and analyzed various aspects of alimentary dystrophy, thereby enriching science.
Many died from constant bombing and shelling.
During the years of the siege, the Leningrad doctors raised tens of thousands of sick and wounded to their feet, bringing Victory closer with their work. For selflessness and heroism in the conditions of the besieged city, many doctors and researchers were awarded high government awards.

The analysis of nursing shows that there was a great deal of continuity in terms of medical personnel and ideas about how public health care should work in Russia. Nursing highlights some of the complexities of Soviet health care and ideology, especially the state's desire to create a theoretically socialist form of nursing, despite the close connection with the pre-revolutionary past in the form of cadres. This situation changed after the collapse of the Soviet Union, when the new Russian state tried to cut ties with the past, this time with the Soviet past.

Abstract
Most textbooks claim that the first vaccine in history was received in 1796 by an Englishman, Edward Jenner. He allegedly wondered why milkmaids never had the characteristic pock marks on their skin, and then realized that the representatives of this profession carry a much lighter cowpox, which somehow protects them in an unknown way. To test the hypothesis, he scratched the skin of his gardener's nine-year-old son and anointed the damage with pus taken from the blister of a sick milkmaid. A few weeks later, he infected the child with the common smallpox, and made sure that he did not have any symptoms. This, as the textbooks say, was the first vaccine in history. Subsequently, Jenner gained fame as nothing less than the"father of immunology". But is it true?

Abstract
Franz Anton Mesmer. He claimed to have found the key to understanding how diseases work in the body, and learned to treat them through magnetism, using only the hands as a tool. It was a real sensation - even Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, used the services of a visiting healer [6]. The German studied medicine at the University of Vienna. At one point, he was fascinated by how different energies, like gravity, interact with the human body. This was such a powerful source of inspiration that he eventually developed a theory about the fundamental nature of life - "animal magnetism".

HISTORICAL ASPECTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ANTI-VACCINATION MOVEMENT
Abstract
Vaccination is considered one of the greatest medical advances of the 20th century. Thanks to various types of vaccines, epidemics that once killed millions of people around the globe have been defeated. The effectiveness of each vaccine is considered scientifically proven; There is a huge amount of medical research confirming this fact. However, as one would expect, there is also an opposite point of view. Representatives of the so-called "anti-vaccine movement" are confident that vaccines do not benefit, but harm, and humanity should abandon vaccinations once and for all.On the Internet, you can find a number of publications devoted to descriptions of the negative effects of vaccinations. Doctors note that an increasing number of people refuse to vaccinate their children, arguing this with the alleged lack of effectiveness of modern vaccines. This article discusses the historical aspects of the formation of the "anti-vaccination" movement.
