Abstract

An analysis of the dynamics of the spread of topical socially significant diseases (SPD) in the Russian Federation (RF) and in the Tver region - tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea and malignant neoplasms - is presented. Socially significant diseases are diseases, the occurrence and spread of which largely depends on socio-economic conditions that harm society and require social protection of a person [1]. The purpose of the study is to assess the dynamics of the spread of these SPZs in the Russian Federation and in the Tver region for 2000-2021. The study used official data of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) and the Medical Information and Analytical Center (MIAC) of the Tver region. During the period under review, a significant decrease in the incidence of tuberculosis, syphilis and gonorrhea was revealed, but an increase in the incidence of malignant neoplasms in the Russian Federation and the Tver region was determined. The decrease in the number of registered patients with a diagnosis established for the first time in my life for a number of SPZs was facilitated by the planned work of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation within the framework of the National Health Project. Measures to reduce the incidence of malignant neoplasms are defined in the Federal Project "Fighting Cancer", the implementation of which is an important task of all medical workers.

Relevance. SPZs pose a threat to society, as they cause mass diseases of the population.

The purpose of the study. Assessment of the dynamics of the spread of current SPZs in the Russian Federation and the Tver region in 2000-2021.

Materials and methods. According to Rosstat and MIAC of the Tver region, the primary incidence of tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea and malignant neoplasms in the Russian Federation and the Tver region in 2000-2021 was studied.

Results. According to Rosstat in the Russian Federation in 2000, the incidence of tuberculosis was 89.8 per 100,000 people; syphilis - 164.5; gonorrhea - 120.9; malignant neoplasms - 293.7. In 2021, the incidence of tuberculosis was 31.1 per 100,000 people; syphilis - 14.5; gonorrhea - 7.4; malignant neoplasms - 337.0. According to the MIAC of the Tver region in 2000, the incidence of tuberculosis was 53.1 per 100 thousand people; syphilis - 139.6; gonorrhea - 112.5; malignant neoplasms - 317.8. In 2021, the incidence of tuberculosis was 21.1 per 100,000 people; syphilis - 22.3; gonorrhea - 1.7; malignant neoplasms - 468.2.

Conclusion. The assessment of the dynamics of the spread of current SPDs in the Russian Federation and the Tver region in 2000-2021 revealed a decrease in the incidence of tuberculosis, syphilis and gonorrhea, but an increase in the incidence of malignant neoplasms was determined. The dynamics of the prevalence of the SPZs under consideration in the Tver region is similar to the changes taking place in the Russian Federation. Fulfilling the key goals and objectives of the National Health Project, including reducing the incidence of SPD, is a way to improve the health of citizens of the Russian Federation.
