RESULTS
At any time of the day or night, Klavdia Alexandrovna could be called to the woman in labor. She often spent days in the hospital. For 47 years of work as an obstetrician-gynecologist, thousands of newborns have accepted her kind motherly hands. And how many children and their mothers she saved from death.
Smolyaninova Claudia Alexandrovna was born on August 15, 1935 in the Petropavlovsk land of the Voronezh region. After graduating from the N. N. Burdenko Voronezh Medical Institute in 1960, she worked for a year in the village of Losevo, Pavlovsk District, as the head of the obstetrics and gynecology department, then in the village of Staraya Kriusha, and since 1963, in the Petropavlovsk regional hospital. Since 1965, Claudia Aleksandrovna was in charge of the maternity hospital. This woman perfectly combined a sharp mind, maternal kindness, a heightened sense of civic duty and deep medical knowledge. Claudia Alexandrovna was worried about everything that lived in her area.
She perceived very painfully how farms were deliberately collapsing in the 90s, and people were "jammed" by lack of money. She defended the interests of voters in the district and one convocation in the regional Council of People's Deputies for three convocations. Soon she was elected a deputy of the Petropavlovsk Village Council. Realizing that many rural women had nothing to buy medicines for, Klavdia Alexandrovna prepared whole herbariums from medicinal herbs and recommendations for their use in the maternity hospital, and then distributed them to those in need.
When the Kriusha River flooded in Petropavlovka in the spring, and the ambulance could not drive up to her house because of the flood, Klavdiya Alexandrovna packed a bag with things and worked for two weeks in the hospital without returning home. She was modest, responsive to the needs of patients and medical workers , was friendly to everyone, did not take into account personal time, knew how to convince the patient of the need for treatment, was distinguished by a rare ability to identify the patient's attitude, his mood.
DISCUSSION
Claudia Alexandrovna is a vivid example of a true doctor of her time. You can’t count how many patients Klavdia Alexandrovna saved their lives, you can’t count how many she gave a chance to recover, but you can always remember how many young professionals she took under her wing will be indebted to her.
“She had a rare combination of simplicity, kindness, intelligence and hard work. She introduced me to the profession, taught me everything. I will never forget my first shift at the hospital with Claudia Alexandrovna. Then, in the morning, after spending the whole night next to the operated woman, she told me the phrase: “If necessary, fall exhausted at the patient’s bed, and even die, but he must survive.” So from the age of 18, under the guidance of Claudia Alexandrovna, I learned to work hard, memorized every case, collected invaluable knowledge bit by bit.
It is rightly said that there is no greatness without simplicity and truth. Because this was all Claudia Alexandrovna. She dressed modestly, I don't remember a day when she was wearing makeup or jewelry. And she didn’t need it, because the only and most valuable thing that Claudia Alexandrovna never parted with was her smile, giving hope and faith in the best.
My mother worked with Claudia Alexandrovna for thirteen years. Only thanks to her, from a very young and inexperienced nurse, she was able to become what she is now - a conscientious worker for the hospital, a faithful assistant for the patient and the best example for me. The memory of Claudia Alexandrovna and her good deeds will live forever.
CONCLUSION
Claudia Alexandrovna is an experienced doctor. She was awarded the medals "For Labor Distinction", "For Valiant Labor", awarded the badge of honor "Gratitude from the land of Voronezh". In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin in 1985, she was awarded the high title of Honored Doctor of the RSFSR. In the same year, for many years of conscientious work, on behalf of the Soviet of the USSR, she received the medal "Veteran of Labor". Smolyaninova Claudia Alexandrovna (08/15/1935 - 07/31/2021), was buried at the Peter and Paul cemetery.
“Medicine has only one task, always has been and always will be. Help every single person to survive. … That's why we fight polio, plague, measles, typhoid, syphilis, tuberculosis and cancer. That is why we are building sanatoriums and hospitals for the chronically ill. That is why we save the lives of people both strong and weak. Because a person must live. This is the only task of medicine.” Arthur Hailey “Clinic. Anatomy of life»
